Farrah Fawcet is currently battling cancer and has the guts to film the whole ordeal as a way to make people more aware of cancer and what it does. She's letting in cameras at her most intimate moments, that takes real courage and determination.

Elizabeth Taylor is amazing, she lit up Hollywood and never left. If you ever want tips on old world glamour just go and watch one of her earlier movies. You'll get more then a few tips and it's never out of style.

Brigitte Bardot, A sex symbol with locks to die (and dye) for. Although not quite as handsome as in her hay day, she was one of the biggest Pin Ups going but still managed to keep it classy. Plus there's no plastic involved.

For Blah Hair Days

If you have long hair with long layers or no layers and often can't be bothered doing your hair yet don't want to look like you've just rolled out of a gutter then try this simple hairstyle.

All you have to do is get the two front bits of hair and pin them back, this keeps ur hair smooth/hides flatness/kinks and so on and so forth.

You can plait the bits of hair or just leave it as is.

Also this 'do is perfect for the day you washed your hair as it enhances any natural waves or curls. It looks best with wavy hair so let you locks run wild and free for the day if your hair is naturally wavy or curly.

Frizzy? just do your usual routine of defrizzing but leave a little bit of body for it.

Lipgloss

Ok I'm not going to deny it any more. I heart lipgloss.

It's just soooo good! It plumps, gives shine, draw attention to and even colours your lips and I must admit I do consider my lips to be one of my favourite features and everyone should be the same becaue I don't see how anything could be bad about a persons lips (unless you have had bad botox) and I think everyone hould like they're lips.

Also I think putting on lipgloss is the easiest way to make you look presentable and pretty a well as give you that little extra confidence to go out and going shopping or to the store even and you can't be bothered with a full face.

So if you're strapped for cash and need something to liven you up go and grab a new bright coloured lipgloss or just your favourite colour.

Why is it that I haven't been able to see this show yet??

Man I can't wait to watch it, I've missed that show.

Tv hasn't been the same since the America's next top model finished some time ago and I had to go through withdrawals over that.

Then if Gossip Girl comes onto free to air my Tv watching life shall be complete. . . . not that I watch much Tv but I will start if it comes on.

Pride and Prejudice

Well due to my lack of energy due to illness, I have been reading Pride and Prejudice which I am find quite the joy haha.

It takes me back to a time before I was born when people were very judgemental and those with bad fashion sense were practically exiled for it.

Ahh to be back in that era where there was well dressed people everywhere and presentation was everything as well as etiquette.

Imagine not having those trashy gangsta wannabes slagging off about everything to the point a compliment sounds like a down right derogative insult.

But any way enough of my far fetched dreams.

I have decided white crisp shirts are in, not tight ones though, the ones that are a loose cut but with feminine touches.

Add to this a warm scarf draped over the shoulders, skinny jeans and tan boots and voile!

We have an outfit!

Keep it in mind for when looking for something to wear when going out for lunch or a coffee with friends.

Don't you hate it when you feel run down.

Damn you year 12 and extreme stress levels!

Looking at pictures of beautiful models certainly doesnt make you feel any prettier either when ur sitting there sniffling and feeling sorry for yourself but I still can't seem to help myself.

The model of the Moment for me right now is Miranda Kerr, why? well we haven't heard from her in a while and she is pretty smokin' still no matter what critics say.

We alo haven't seen much of her on the runway apart from Victoria's Secret and to be honest I miss her. She' the only woman who can pull off enormous cheek bones.

And let's not forget where she's from, AUSTRALIA!

Ponderings

I'm feeling a bit frustrated today so I'm going to make a blog.

sorry i haven't been on lately. Haven't had much to talk about haha how boring I am.

Hmm i have decided that purple will be the color of next season so write it in your diaries ladies and gents because its already big in Europe.

Also the make up to use this season is fresh faced with statement lips or eyes, winter will be about bright eyes too but red lips will always be a winner.

Hair is to be worn long and with plenty of volumn but not over done.

I also wanted to say something about the beauty of a female. I know that girls get severly critisized by guys, themelves, media and especially themselves but I honestly think that anyone can look hot if they can apply make up properly and have a bit of confidence.

I'll put money on it that when you see a bubbly fun girl you'll go "shes got it" and won't even be able to tell someone what her hair colour is later on because you were too busy noticing HER.

I know this is a "shallow" blog but I'm allowed to be deep sometimes.

But there are exceptions to this. Like girls who smoke or do heavy drugs. Sorry love but yellow skin, sunken eyes, and bad body odour will never EVER be in.

Same with girls who are severly underweight, Whilst skinny can be good, if it isnt natural then you're going to look on the wrong side of 45 even though you're only in your 20's.

Ok I'm sick of it. I can't understand why any female in their right mind would want to dresss like a man.

I mean BOYFRIEND pants are in style? How iss that attractive on a female???

My opinion on female fashion is to keep it just that. FEMALE.

There are these girls with shaved head wearing male clothing who then get upset when a store person accidently calls them 'Sir' when approaching them from behind. Come on, unless you want to look butch why do it to yourself? all your going to do i look back and go 'oh god' and burn any picture of you wearing the outfit so why not save your cash and spend it on something feminine that guys can check you out in instead of sizing you up as another male.

If you think having super short hair is good then thats ok, some women look great with short hair. But teaming it with male inspired clothes and then complaining that guys dont ask for you number is silly. Theres a reason they're not approaching you. . . . because they're not gay.

I advice everyone to stick with more feminine pieces, pants are fine but just keep it to the Women's section of the store. Clothes that give you a feminine shape and make you look like a woman will always be in style. Men pants are just a passing phase.

A fashion is nothing but an induced epidemic.

Ahhh yes fashion, how fantastic it is and how horribly wrong it can go.

There will always be those who seem born with style and grace and those who think flannelet looks good.

I am not a fashion 'victim' as such because when you become that it means you follow every fashion there is and that's never a good look.

I prefer to take what I like and add it to my own style because that is what is timeless, own style.

I have some advice for everyone here today, wear what suits you not what you think suits you. And when you go shopping take someone who will be honest with you because shop assistants can't be trusted, they are there to sell clothes not make you look good and they don't care if you look like a giant lime green circus tent. Its just a fact.

Instead take someone like a mother, sister, other female family member, gay friend who has keen sense of style or best friend. Anyone who is going to give it to you straight no matter how much it hurts.

This blog is here to give advice to those who are too scared to ask anywhere else. Or don't have time to pour over all the fashion magazines to find what they like.

I'll happily answer any quesstions and will creat other blogs on topics that i think are now and relevant. I'll also happily give my opinions on current fashions, make up and hair trends.
